Quick Guide (FDC Scenario)

Prerequisites

Before installing an air duct, check whether there is any construction waste in the

air shaft. If yes, clear the waste.

Context

Issue 01 (2022-06-30)

Ports for installing air ducts are reserved on the unit. The air ducts need to be

prepared by the customer based on the site requirements. The figures are for

reference only.

Indoor air supply duct: secured by tightening 38 M8x25 screws to a

torque of 15 N·m.

Outdoor air exhaust duct: secured by tightening ST4.8x25 tapping screws

to a torque of 1.5–2.6 N·m and with a recommended screw spacing of

150 mm.

Air duct requirements:

–

Air duct plates must be at least 1.2 mm thick.

Add a pad at the flange joint between air duct sections. The pad should

be closed-cell foam rubber (thickness: 5 mm) or sealing rubber strip.

–

Flexible connections are required between the air ducts and the unit.
