(3) Condensate drainpipe
Procedure
● Clean the external water pipes before connecting them to the water inlet and
outlet pipes of the coil pipes of the unit.
● Water pipes need to be prepared onsite.
● Connect the water inlet and outlet pipes of the unit using pipe thread
connectors. When connecting the water pipes, do not exert excessive force to
avoid damage to the coil pipes. (When connecting the pipes, use two pipe
wrenches or chain pliers.)
● After installing water pipes, install supports to secure the pipes.
● The drainpipe should have a downward gradient of at least 5‰ in the drainage
direction to ensure smooth drainage.
Step 1 Connect one end of the water trap to the port for the water pump pan drainpipe,
and connect a water pipe to the other end of the water trap.
Step 2 Install water pipes at the ports for the spray drainpipe, condensate drainpipe, and
spray water refill pipe.

Pipe Anti-freezing
When the ambient temperature is less than or equal to 0°C, drainpipes and water
refill pipes may freeze and thereby be blocked or crack. Take anti-freezing
measures for the pipes.

● The water pipes are connected using thread connectors. The threaded joints must be
sealed with sealing tape or thread sealant.
● When connecting water pipes, use appropriate active connectors and secure them using
a wrench.
● The condensate drainpipe must be wrapped with thermal insulation foam (including the
buried pipe) with a thickness of at least 3 cm.
