MIS JBOD Control Panel

When lit, AC power is available to the power supply modules, whether or not the unit

is on or off. When green, the system is in good working order. When yellow, a problem exists and
service is required.
When pushed, this service reset button reboots the server. If the problem

clears after the reset, the status LED turns green.
The locator LED lights blue on the front and back to help locate the unit in a rack.
Locator LED
When pushed, the locator button lights blue. There is a corresponding LED on the
Locator button
back of the server that also lights blue.When pushed again, the locator button LED turns off.
Tip: You can use the Intel BMC Web Console to activate this button remotely by pressing the
virtual button or by using the Linux IPMI terminal tool:
-H ip_addr -P passwd -U user chassis identification
This green LED is lit whenever network traffic occurs on the baseboard NIC
NIC activity LED
ports.
Boot drive activity LED
present, but inactive, on SGI MIS NAS JBOD enclosures.
Nonmaskable interrupt (NMI) reset button

Note: Do not press the NMI button unless instructed to do so by an SGI technical support
representative.

informed of the overall status of the system.
The control panel for the MIS NAS JBOD enclosure is exactly the same as the MIS NAS Server
Platform. However, some of the buttons do not have the same function as they do on the MIS
