Railheat control

Table 36: Railheat control
Function
Description
Control state A
Readout of the actual control state of the controller
Control state B
Readout of the actual control state of the controller
Control state C
Readout of the actual control state of the controller
Dewpoint
Actual dewpoint received from system manager via
network
Rail heat
Actual status of output function
Rail heat power
Readout of the actual rail power in %
Rail heat PWM
Actual status of output function
Rail heat control
The rail heat can be controlled in several ways:
mode
0: Rail heat is running all the time
1: Pulse control is used with a timer function follow-
ing the day/night operation
2: Pulse control is used with a dewpoint function. This
function requires that a signal is received about the
dewpoint value. The value is measured by a system
manager and sent to the controller via the data com-
munication.
Rail heat ON cycle
Rail heat power during day time. The ON period is set
day
as a percentage of the period
Rail heat ON cycle
Rail heat power during night time. The ON period is
night
set as a percentage of the period time
Rail heat period
Period time for pulsing of rail heat
time
Rail heat PWM - Peri-
Period time for the pulse width modulation
od time
Rail heat min. ON
Lowest permitted rail heat power. When the meas-
cycle
ured dewpoint is below the defined minimum limit
the rail heat will run with the set minimum power
Dewpoint min. limit If the measuered dewpoint is below the set value the
rail heat is running at minimum heat
Dewpoint max. limit If the measured dewpoint is above the set value the
rail heat is maximum
