Vehicle identification
The Vehicle Identification
Number (VIN)
is located on the instrument panel on the
driver's side so that it is visible from the out-
side through the windshield - see illustra-
t ion above.
The safety compliance sticker
is your assurance that your new vehicle
complies with all applicable Federal Motor
Vehicle Safety Standards which were in ef-
f ect at the time the vehicle was manufac-
t ured. You can find this sticker on the left
doorjamb.
It shows the month and year of product ion
and the vehicle identification number of
you r vehicle (perforation) as well as the
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and
the Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR).
The high voltage warning label
is located on the lock carrier.
The spark ignition system meets all require-
ments of the Canadian Interference-Caus-
ing Equipment Regulations.

is located on the leh side under the carpet-
ing on the luggage compartment floor. The
label contains the following information:
1 -Vehicle identification no.
2- Type code number

3 - Engine and transmission code letter
Paint no.

Interior
4 - Optional equipment numbers
You can also find vehicle data in your Main-
tenance booklet.
