Note
If.
during
the
automatic seat
and mirror ad-
justment. you press one of the memory
but-
tons
again. the current retrieval process
will
be interrupted
.
If, after that, you again press
the
button that was
first
p~essed,
the inter-
rupted retrieval procedure
wi
ll continue. On
the
other
hand,
if you press one of the two
other
buttons. the
seat
and mirrors
will
go
into the positions stored on it.
Retrieval using the master key
The stored seat and mirror settings can only
be retrieved w ith the ignition
switched
off
and the
driver's
door closed:
Press
the open button
of
the master key
briefly (see page
31).
and
then
open the
driv-
er's
door.
The
seat and the
outside
mirror now move
automatically
into
the stored positions.
CONTROLS AND
EQUIPMENT
Retrieving mirror adjustments
for driving in reverse
•
Switch the
ignit
ion on.
•
Switch to
t
he right outside mirror (see pa-
ge 59).
•
Engage the
R (Reverse)
gear.
The rig
ht
outside
mirror
now
moves
auto-
matically
into the stored
position.
Note
As soon as you disengage reverse gear. the
rig ht outside mirrors moves back into the
position stored for
driving
forward
.
Emergency Off
In an emergency, you can interrupt
any retrieval procedure by pressing
on the locking switch E (unlocking),
tapping one of the memory buttons
or pressing one of
the
seat
adjuster
switches.
