Assigning a seat and mirror setting
to a memory button using the re-
mote control:
After you have adjusted your seat and the
inside mirror,
you have
1 0 seconds
to as-
sign this setting to a memory button via the
remote control.
• Remove the key from the ignition lock.
• Press the "open" button on the remote
control (see page 30). and hold it until you
hear an acoustic signal to let you know that
the seat and mirror positions have been as-
signed to a memory button.
Notes
• If you have assigned a seat and mirror
setting to a memory button using the ma-
st er key, and then reassign a new setting
using a different key, the "old" setting will
be erased and the new one w ill be memori-
zed in its place.
• The assignment of a master key to a me-
mory button is maintained even if you store
new seat and mirror adjustments to this
button.
Retrieving seat and mirror
adjustment for driving forward
The settings stored can be retrieved both
with the memory buttons D and w ith the ra-
dio- operated remote control.
Retrieving using the
memory buttons
For safety reasons, the seat and mirror ad-
justments can be retrieved only with the
ignition switched off. You can choose be-
tween two retrieval options:
"Automatic memory tap: "
With the driver's door open, tap briefly on
the desired memory button. The seat and
the outside mirror move automatically to
the stored positions.
"Pressing the Memory button:"
W ith the driver's door opened
or
closed,
press the memory button until the seat and
outside mirror have moved into the stored
positions.
