Recorder: Recorder/Printer Menu
You can use this option to choose whether recordings will print automatically
when a patient warning or crisis alarm occurs. The waveform(s) selected for a
continuous mode strip appear on an alarm strip as well. The length of the strip is
set in the password-protected configuration menu at 20 to 30 seconds. In
response to a crisis alarm, however, the strip will continue to print past the set
time if the alarm condition has not been corrected. If additional patient alarms
occur during printing, they are annotated on the alarm strip. The speed is fixed
at 25 mm/s and has the same delayed memory setting as continuous strip
mode.
You can use this option to have a summary of vitals printed whenever you print
a recording. Choose yes or no.
This option lets you choose to have an automatic vitals summary printout
whenever an NIBP determination completes (NIBP ONLY) or whenever NIBP or
TEMP determinations complete (NIBP or TEMP). Choose OFF if you do not want
an automatic summary printout upon completion of either.
If both NIBP and TEMP determinations are in progress, the auto print summary is
held off until both determinations are completed. If an auto print is initiated
while the recorder is busy, the auto print data is held in memory until the
recorder becomes available. Only one set of data can be held in memory for an
auto print. If the auto print is on hold and another NIBP/TEMP determination is
completed, the new data will be printed once the recorder becomes available.
The extended menu that appears when you select this option lets you choose up
to two waveforms to be printed in the continuous or alarm modes (the ECG
waveform is automatically chosen as long as the parameter is available). If you
do not specify a waveform, the waveform with the highest priority will be
printed.
