Using the Dash 2500 Patient Monitor: LED Displays
WARNINGS
All the values and waveforms the Monitor displays are fictional
Demo Mode is only designed for the use of training. It is not
intended for the use of any other purpose.
No parameters, accessories, central station or any other
peripheral equipment are allowed to be connected with the
Monitor while in Demo Mode. It is not intended for clinical use
or patient monitoring and diagnosis.
NOTES
No alarms are generated under Demo Mode.
The Trim Knob and all the menus—with the exception of go to standby and
enter patient name options—are available under Demo Mode. All the
hardkeys—with the exception of Power hardkey—are not available.
All settings under menus can be changed under Demo Mode. These
changes are saved after exiting Demo Mode. You should set all the changed
settings to default before normal use. This can be done under Config Mode.
Go to the Config Settings menu, and select reset ALL to factory. Refer to
the Dash 2500 Patient Monitor Service Manual (PN 2042481-001) for more
information.
An amber LED indicator on the front of the Dash 2500 Patient Monitor
illuminates when the unit is operating from battery power.
A green LED indicator on the front of the Monitor illuminates when the unit is
operating from external AC power.
When a usable battery is properly installed, if the Monitor loses AC power, it
automatically switches to battery power without interruption of operation.
The following occurs:
If the Always display battery icon option is set to no, the battery icon
appears. If the option is set to yes, an arrow appears beside the battery
icon.
A single tone sounds to notify you of the power switching from AC to battery
