Possible cause
Unit is connected downstream
of a router
The IP address of the unit is
being used by another unit
Subnet masks of the computer
and the unit do not match
The connection to the unit was
interrupted while the software
was still attempting to communi-
cate with the unit
Possible cause
No mains voltage
On/off switch is defective
Mains cable or power supply
unit plug not inserted correctly
Hardware defect
Mains supply voltage too low
Touch screen initialization fault
Touch screen brightness set too
dark
Touch screen defective
Troubleshooting
Remedy
Configure the IP address with-
out an intermediate router on
the unit.
Reconnect the router.
Manually enter the IP address
in VistaConfig and register the
unit.
Check the network settings
(IP address and subnet mask)
and assign a unique IP
address to each unit.
Inform a service technician, if
the problem persists.
Check subnet masks, adjust if
necessary.
Restore the connection to the
unit.
Repeat the process.
Remedy
Check the mains cable and
plug connection and replace if
necessary.
Check the power supply unit.
If the green status LED does
not light up, replace the
power supply unit.
Check the mains fuse in the
building.
Contact technician.
Check the mains cable and
plug connections.

age.
Switch the unit off and on
again.
