The phosphor storage plate scanner is used to
read image data stored on the phosphor storage
plate.
The unit can be used in two different ways: via
the imaging software (e. g. VisionX) on a PC or
directly via the touch screen on the unit.
The transport mechanism guides the phosphor
storage plate through the device. A laser in the
scanner unit scans the PSP. The scanned data is
converted into a digital image.
If a scanning job is started via the imaging soft-
ware, the image is automatically transmitted to
the computer.
