When you remove the chamber cap, place it on a clean, dry surface
with the greased side down so that particles will not accumulate on the
greased surface. If the cap is placed on a dirty surface, analysis errors
may result.

Do not remove the cell chamber cap when the pycnometer is pressur-
ized. Sample may be discharged from the chamber.

Insert the sample cup with sample into the cell chamber.
