6.3.4 CIP Message Error Codes

This section includes error codes and conditions that can occur when using CIP
messages.
Your application can be constructed in a manner in which it catches the two possible
error cases:

CIP Message instruction failure

The requested command returns an error in its request confirmation
General CIP Message Error Codes
Below are general CIP Message error codes.
Note: Some CIP error codes are public and can also be generated by the
controller.
