GROUND
Connect to the negative terminal of the battery, -12V. Typically, grounds are
(GND)
established in the fuse panel, and installers would need to be connected there.
IGNITION
Connect to the vehicle ignition, +12V, signal required to activate the device.
Ensure that the provided 3 AMP fuse is used. Ignition can be obtained from
(IGN)
the ignition solenoid post.
POSITIVE
Connect to the positive terminal of the battery, +12v. Ensure that the
(VCC)
provided 15 AMP inline fuse is used. +12V can be obtained from the battery
solenoid post, or the cables that connect directly to the battery from the fuse
panel.

10.4.1 - DB26 Sensor / Serial Cable Connection (CAB000356)
The sensor cable CAB000356 connects to the DB26 connector marked "SERIAL" on the

back of the device. The sensor portion of the cable is 5 metres sheathed together. Wires
are colour coded and labelled with its corresponding Sensor number.
The 2-pin Molex connector can be used to connect a Zoom Camera (optional) to the
§
recorder.
