Notes on Sub-Stream
Setup
whole of the HDD will be utilized for
recording of main stream data.
DEFAULT SETTINGS:
Unchecked

Sets the amount of data to be recorded for
Main Stream and Sub-stream.
To configure Sub-Stream click on the
(Setup) button to configure the quality and
resolution of the recorded video to be stored
to the secondary storage. This configuration
needs to be done for each individual camera
channel.
The following options will be on the
Substream Setup screen:
Channel – drop list to select the

particular channel to configure.
When a channel is selected, the
corresponding recording settings for
that channel will be displayed for
viewing and editing.
Enable – checkbox, if selected,
§
would enable the substream
recording for this channel. If
unselected, would mean that video
from this channel would not be
recorded and stored as part of the
substream.
Encode Type – permits the choice of
§
H264 or H265 encoding.
Audio – drop down menu to select
§
No Audio, Always Audio, or No
Audio-Pre-Record for this channel.
Resolution – drop list to select the
§
resolution to record this channel at.
Available resolution options are CIF
(352x240), HD1 (704x240),
(640*360), and D1 (704x480) and
WD1.
Frame Rate – drop list allowing you
§
to select the frame rate (in terms of
frames per second) that you would
like to record at.
