requiring G4 Viewer Plus™ to view, or the generic '*.avi' video file format).

8 - Configuration
The Y724 includes a comprehensive configuration menu that can be used to tailor every aspect of
the device to your fleet requirements. The configuration menu system consists of 5 major
sections:
Basic Setup: Configure all the basic device preferences and operational settings. Please refer to
§
section 8.4 "Basic Setup" (page 66) for details.
Surveillance : Camera viewing and recording settings as well as set up new cameras. Please
§
refer to section 8.5 "Surveillance" (page 84) for details.
Collection : All settings related to the collection of vehicle and operations data from the
§
device sensors as well as configuring of settings for taking snapshots based on pre-set triggers.
Please refer to section 8.6 "Collection" (page 104) for details.
Alarm : Configuration of recording, snapshot and other actions which the device will perform

when an alarm event occurs. Please refer to section 8.7 "Alarm" (page 116) for details.
Maintenance : Various maintenance actions including data export and firmware upgrades are

available under the Maintenance Menu. Please refer to section 8.8 "Maintenance" (page 131)
for details.
