9.3 - Configuring Substream Recording Quality

"Substream" recording gives users the option of recording a secondary video stream that is of a
lower resolution than the original "mainstream". The lower resolution video substream will save
space and increase the available recording time for storage media, and is ideal for use when
streaming to computers, smartphones, or tablets for remote live viewing across the internet.
When choosing to record a substream, the user can define the settings that determine image
quality and file size. To define substream settings, navigate to:
