Y724 User Operating Manual
The G4 Connect app can be installed to an
Android device by using the provided installer
package '*.apk' file, or by downloading the app
through the 'Google Play' digital distribution
service
(play.google.com)
Step 2: Identify the Y724 Network Broadcast ID (SSID)
Before a Wi-Fi connection can be established with the Y724, you must first identify the device's
network broadcast ID (or SSID). The default Wi-Fi network address of the Y724 device
corresponds with its MAC address (e.g., 000035000AE6). The MAC address, and subsequent
network broadcast ID, can be found on a label that is included with the Y724 packaging box.
Make sure you have correctly identified this network broadcast ID before proceeding.
Step 3: Login to G4 Connect
Start your vehicle to power on the Y724. Using your Android device, search for the broadcast
network ID (e.g. 000035000AE6) from its Wi-Fi settings list, and connect to this network.

Once you have connected your Android device to the Y724, launch the G4 Connect app. When
presented with a login screen supply the following credentials:
Username: admin
Password: admin
You are now successfully connected through the G4 Connect app and can begin using your Y724
device.

'Common', 'Preview', 'Playback', and 'Preferences'.
