» ADJUSTMENT OF THE THREAD TAKE UP SPRING TENSION
NOTICE:
The tension of the thread take up spring needs to be adjusted in relation to the thread and sewing material in use. The
force should always be lower than the needle thread tension. It has strong influence on the seam quality.

NOTE:
The tension of the thread take up spring should be strong enough to secure keeping the
needle thread tight while entering of the needle point into the sewing material.

STEP
Activate the ADJUSTMENT WIZARD
(see 02.01. / Page 19).
» Until chapter 30 appears on the display.
» Confirm.
To adjust thread tension spring
clockwise until the desired pretension is reached.
Tighten screw .
