03. ADJUSTMENT
14. NEEDLE GUARD
NOTE:
The needle guard should protect the needle from colliding with the hook point.
At stitch length 0 and in thread loop position the needle guard should slightly touch the
needle, so it is slightly pushed aside during the passing of the hook point.

Activate the ADJUSTMENT WIZARD
(see 02.01. / Page 19).
» Until chapter 14 appears on the display.
» Confirm.
Turn the machine with the mechanical handwheel to the thread loop position.
Turn the screw outwards until the needle guard

» Confirm to proceed to the next step.
DESCRIPTION
INFO: The pedal is blocked. While
turning by hand the display shows the
machine position in degrees. Stitch
length is set to 0mm.
