Replacing measuring chain components

When replacement is necessary, in principle, the piezoelectric transducer and
the charge amplifier or connecting cable can be replaced. But the following
always applies: components must only ever be replaced with components of
the same type, e.g. a CFT/5kN force transducer only ever for a CFT/5kN, and
a CMA39 charge amplifier for a CMA39. This ensures that the transducer and
charge amplifier have the same nominal (rated) force and sensitivity.
Replacement of the connecting cable is non‐critical.
Charge amplifiers are adjusted individually. This ensures that when the
amplifier is replaced, the series variation is less than "0.5%.
