8 Start‐up
Connect a piezoelectric sensor to the CMA charge amplifier.
MEASURE / RESET
With an input voltage of 0 V at the MEASURE/RESET pin (see Fig. 4.1 and
Fig. 7.1 on Page 17), the charge amplifier is in measurement mode
(MEASURE). If a voltage of 24V is present at the pin, the charge amplifier
switches to RESET.
Activating RESET will set the amplifier output signal to zero. This can be done
with any force. The advantage of the reset function is that drift factors have no
effect.
