Maintenance

The CMA charge amplifier is maintenance‐free. Please note the following
points when cleaning the housing:
S Disconnect the device from all current and voltage supplies before cleaning
it.
S Clean the housing with a soft, slightly damp (not wet!) cloth. Never use
solvent as this could damage the labeling or the housing.
S When cleaning, ensure that no liquid gets into the device or connections.
S The plug connection contacts should therefore be cleaned with a clean,
lint‐free cloth (e.g. Non‐woven pad, HBM order no. 1-8402.0026) and
isopropanol, e.g. IPA200 from RS Components. The cleaning agents used
to clean SG measuring points are not suitable!
