Electrical connection
Only high‐insulation connection cables that generate little friction electricity
during movement must be used for piezoelectric sensors. A charge cable in
rugged design with metal jacket is available for applications in highly
contaminated environments or for increased mechanical stresses.
Example:

force transducer
The supply voltage, measurement signal, inputs and TEDS are connected to
the evaluating electronics via the 8‐pin M12 device plug.
The CMA1 to CMA2000 versions only have one input. Where necessary, use
the CSB4/1 summing box to connect up to four piezoelectric sensors in parallel
operation.
Notice
Tighten the swivel nut of the sensor cable with maximum 1.5Nm to prevent
damage to the connecting socket.
Two inputs are available on the CMA5000/2 and two sensors can be
connected. The sensors are switched in parallel electrically, i.e. the charges
are added. The following applies for the measurement result with force
sensors: The sum of the forces present at the sensors is measured. Switching
