Introduction

Piezoelectric charge amplifiers of the CMA type series are suitable for
measuring with piezoelectric sensors. The CMA amplifies the electric charges
to a proportional output signal of -10 ... +10 V
for accurate data). You can measure dynamic and quasi‐static forces with
great accuracy in this way.
S The compact design amplifiers have good immunity from interference.
S You can change the functions of the charge amplifier via the MEASURE /
RESET and RANGE 1 / RANGE 2 inputs.
S The charge amplifier is fitted with a TEDS module (Transducer Electronic
Data Sheet).
S The CMA5000/2 version allows you to connect two amplifiers in parallel
(one channel for both sensors).
In keeping with the choice of measuring range (RANGE 1/ RANGE 2), the valid
TEDS information for the particular measuring range is forwarded to the
downstream evaluating electronics, if they are TEDS‐compliant. The "High
Level Voltage" template is used, see Chapter 8.1, Page 21.
