This section contains instructions for installing GS970EMX/20 and
GS970EMX/28 Switches on a concrete wall with the BRKT-J24 wall
brackets kit. Review "Installation Guidelines" on page 86 before
performing the procedure:

The device is heavy. Always ask for assistance before moving or
lifting it to avoid injuring yourself or damaging the equipment.

The device should be installed on the wall by a qualified building
contractor. Serious injury to yourself or others or damage to the
equipment may result if it is improperly fastened to the wall. 

To install the switch on a concrete wall, perform the following procedure:
1. Place the switch on a table.
Note
If the bumper feet are attached to the bottom on the switch, remove
them before continuing.
2. Unpack the BRKT-J24 wall brackets kit and verify the contents. Refer
to Figure 22 on page 53.
3. Install the four BRKT-J24 wall brackets to the sides of the unit, with the
sixteen M4x6mm screws included with the brackets. Refer to Figure
53 on page 90.
4. Have another person hold the switch on the concrete wall at the
selected location for the device while you use a pencil or pen to mark
the wall with the locations of the four screw holes in the four brackets
(one screw per bracket). Follow these guidelines when positioning the
switch on the wall:
You can install the switch with the front panel facing up, left, or
right, Figure 55 on page 93 shows the switch with the faceplate on
the left.
