4. Have another person hold the switch on the plywood base on the wall
while you secure it with appropriate screws. Follow these guidelines
when positioning the switch on the wall:
You can install the switch with the front panel facing up, left, or

right, Figure 54 shows the switch with the faceplate on the left.
Note
Do not install the switch with the front panel facing down.
Leave sufficient space from other devices or walls so that you can

access the front and back panels, and for adequate air ventilation.
