6.2.1 Enhance (S-Technologies)

Tap the Enhance (S-Technologies) button.
ð The following settings are possible:
– CLARA: A specially optimized algorithm reduces disruptive shadows and ensures more
even brightness perception of the endoscopic image.
– CHROMA: Improves the perception of fine structures via contrast enhancements,
particularly in the red area. The original colors are retained; the color intensity is changed.

6.2.2 OPAL1

NOTE: OPAL1 is NOT available for PDD in the USA.
ü The light source and camera head are connected to the FI support.
Tap the OPAL1 button to define the settings for the fluorescence imaging (FI).
ð The following settings are possible:
– FI switch: It is possible to switch between the FI application and white light in the menu,
via the camera head buttons, or via a footswitch.
– Overlay color: The NIR/ICG signal can be displayed in blue or green.

Description
The overlay image combines the white light image and the detected NIR
signal. The NIR signal is displayed in either blue or green together with the
white light signal.
Intensity Map combines the white light image and the detected NIR signal.
The NIR information is displayed in a color scale to differentiate between
strong and weak NIR signals. The yellowish display represents stronger
signals, the blue display weaker signals. The color scaling shown in the
image depends on the position of the optics relative to the tissue. The dis-
play cannot be used to quantify the NIR signal.
The monochromatic visualization displays the NIR signal in grayscale. No
white light information is displayed.
Set the overlay opacity of the NIR signal. The white light information re-
mains unchanged.
