15. Connect the power cord. Push the power plug fully into the power socket.
16. Push the power plugs fully into the power sockets of the LINK modules.
17. Connect the power plugs to the power sockets.
Use the network device only in a protected network with firewall and router.

5.5 Putting the product into operation

WARNING
Hot surfaces! Risk of burns!
The surfaces can get hot due to locked ventilation fans or blocked air intakes. There is a
possible risk of a burn if touched.
If the surfaces get hot, switch off the product.
WARNING
HF electrodes and laser probes! Risk of injury!
If HF electrodes and laser probes are activated in the instrument channel, the patient may be
seriously injured.
Only apply power to the HF electrodes and laser probe once the active parts have left the
instrument channel and are in the user's field of vision, and the site of the operation is
clearly recognizable.
