6. In KS HIVE Device Info, call up information about KS HIVE with the connected devices,
their availability and their status.

6.4 Patient data privacy

Do not record sensitive patient information including patient's face, name, social security
number, etc.
KARL STORZ assumes no legal liability or responsibility for the loss, accuracy, damage,
or disclosure of patient data that has been managed using IMAGE1 S.
The patient data administration functions (e.g. entry, access, display, storage and
transfer) must be activated manually. Upon activating the patient data administration
functions, the user assumes responsibility for all patient-related data which are managed
using IMAGE1 S as per the applicable national data protection laws.
In the Patient Data Privacy settings, you can edit all settings related to patient information.
Patient information is available only if the corresponding settings have been made. The system
does not contain patient data as standard.
1. Tap the Patient Data Privacy button.
2. The Patient Data Privacy menu is password-protected as standard. Enter a personal
password that fulfils the following criteria:
– At least 8 characters
– At least 1 uppercase letter
– At least 1 lowercase letter
– At least 1 numeral
– At least 1 special character
