14.4.2 Control Equations
This section will allow you to define an equation whose logical result (TRUE/FALSE) activates or
deactivates the group.
The equation interprets the status of the systems groups and timers (TRUE/FALSE):
• as logical operands:
e.g. A: (((C01G02 AND C02G03) OR T01) NOT T07)
e.g. B: (C01G02 XOR C02G03)
• as numeric operands in which the logic value TRUE is intended as numeric value '1':
e.g. ((C01G02 + C02G02 + C02G03 + C02G04) > 2)
Select Control equation to check the balancing of the brackets.

Programming the control panel
Enable/Disable the group.
The delay will be applied when the defined condition occurs. The delay will be
applied even if the group is activated by a zone signal.
Pulse: the group will activate when the condition occurs and deactivate at the
end of the Activation Time. If you have deselected Always finish
Activation Time, the group will deactivate when the condition clears.
Bistable: the group will activate when the condition occurs and deactivate
when the condition clears.
Activation time of groups with the Pulse attribute
Only for groups with the Pulse attribute. If this option is deselected, the group
will deactivate if the condition clears before the end of the Activation Time. If
this option is selected, the group will deactivate at the end of the Pulse
length.
To associate with status change, also the operating mode of the control panel.
In example 'A' the condition will be TRUE if
both group 2 and group 3 are active or only
timer 1 is active and timer 7 is not active.
In example 'B' the condition will be TRUE if
the logical values of group 2 and group 3
are different.
In the example the group will be active
when at least two of the four groups are
active.
The number '2' has been included as a
constant.
