Setting Time and date
FROM COMPUTER
Go to SmartLoop System, System Programming, Date/Time
This option will allow you to set the Date and Time of all the control panels in the system and select
the date format (European, British and ISO) that will be used on the displays and in the events log.
You must also specify the parameters for the Daylight Saving Time (BST) changeover.
Note:
If you are dealing with several control panels in a network, you must assign the task of
broadcasting the Date and Time to all the other control panels to one control panel only (refer to
Control panel with system clock), as this will avoid misalignment.

Attention:
If you are dealing with several control panels in a network, you should set the Date and
Time via computer, in such way as to align all the control panel in the network. You
should always avoid setting the date and time separately on each control panel, as the
settings will be deleted at the successive alignment, that is unless the settings are
implemented by the control panel that manages "the system clock".
Note:
To set up a control panel as "the system clock" from the control panel console, access menu 8-5
(8 Programming, 5 Programming network).

The clock must be put back/forward manually.
Daylight Saving Time (BST) changeover is done automatically in accordance
with the rules adopted by the European Union (the clocks are put forward on
the last Sunday in March and back on and last Sunday in October). You can
also specify the exact time on the set date when the clock will be put back/
forward.
The changeover occurs automatically in accordance with the date and time
entered in the list. The list allow you to specify the exact time of the
changeover and to adopt particular rules, if the system is installed outside of
the European Union.
