Keyboard

The FELCOM 15 is almost 100% keyboard controlled. Operation is carried out
with the function keys, numbered F1-F10 at the top of the keyboard. The figure
below shows keyboard layout.

Keyboard
Cancels key input and returns to previous display
screen.
These are the function keys, and they choose
menus.
Deletes the character to the left of the cursor.
Works the same as "paste." See "Copying and
pasting text" in paragraph 3.2.4.
Deletes the character selected with the cursor.
Moves the cursor to the top of the message being
edited.
Moves the cursor to the bottom of the message
being edited.
Goes to the previous page of the edit screen.
Goes to the next page of the edit screen.
Control the cursor.
Registers key input; inserts carriage return in TX
message.
Chooses upper or lower case alphabet. Press and
hold down the key and then press the [Caps Lock] to
get upper or lower case alphabet. Note that only
upper case alphabet are used in telex.
Executes the shortcut key operation when combined
with an alphabet key. See paragraph 1.2.2.
