This section describes the more commonly seen error messages and the means
to restore normal operation. If normal operation cannot be restored, contact your
dealer for advice.

Messages in this category are prefixed with "TROUBLE:".
Error Message
ANT power voltage
abnormality.
Carrier power level.
DISTRESS ALERT
UNIT Fault.
DMC connection
abnormality.
EEPROM ERROR.
ALARM UNIT
Fault.
Invalid MES ID, This
equipment is
defected. Please
contact FURUNO.

UNLOCK.

Meaning
Antenna power voltage.
Carrier power level too high or
too low.
Trouble at Distress Alert
Unit/Received Call Unit IC-305.
Trouble at Distress Message
Controller DMC-5.
EEPROM trouble.
Trouble at Alarm Unit IC-306.
MES ID is corrupted.
Synthesizer unlock.
Action
Have a licensed
