Back Panel

This section provides information about the SA-100 back pane. Figure 4-2 and Table
4-4 provide information about the SA-100 back panel.

SA-100 Front Panel Indicators and Connectors
Description
The power-on indicator lights when the system power
is on.
The power button controls the internal power supply
output to the system. When the system bezel is
installed, the power button is not accessible.
Not used.
Lights up when the hard drive is in use.
The four diagnostic lights display error codes during
system startup. See "Diagnostic Lights" in the ShoreTel
Maintenance Guide.
Lights blue during normal system operation. Lights
amber when the system needs attention due to a
problem.
Activates indicator lights on the front and back panels
that facilitate locating the unit in the rack.
Allows you to connects USB devices to the unit for
system recovery. The ports are USB 2.0-compliant.
The top contains the ShoreTel product ID, part
number and serial number. The bottom contains two
MAC addresses for the two internal NICs.
