The calibration process is carried out using a calibration template (CRG), which you will find in
the accessories box. (Figure.35)
The calibration process for each part is explained in detail below.
Once you have selected the "CONFIGURATION" icon, the display reads:
Configure AVANTCODE (STANDARD): Adjust the milling tool "Calibrate milling tool" and then it's
a good idea to adjust the reader "Calibrate reader". It's a good idea to adjust the reader for the
"Cut key" option (See section 4.3.). If it is not calibrated, the first key will be cut with a calibration
error, however the following keys will be cut correctly.
Configure the AVANTCODE (KEY FEEDER): Adjust the feeder: "Calibrate feeder", but you do not
have to calibrate the reader "Calibrate reader".
(NB: The calibration template (CRG) and the area where the milling tool touches the template
must be clean to avoid calibration errors. Clean both parts with the brush before calibration.)
