Safety devices

5.3.1

Safety switch

The safety switch (no. 8, fig. 5) is located underneath the lifting eye and is provided for the safety of the operators.
The safety switch blocks the lifting magnet from being switched off after the lifting eye has been lifted.
5.3.2

Acoustic warning signal

The acoustic warning signal (no. 13, fig. 5) is located on the front cover, on the left below the control buttons. It has
the following functions:
The acoustic warning signal indicates a long standstill while the lifting magnet is activated:
– after 15 seconds if the lifting magnet is set down
– after 3 minutes if the lifting magnet is lifted
The acoustic warning signal for operating personnel and the surrounding area sounds after the VARIABLE
FORCE and TIP-OFF functions have been pre-selected.
The acoustic warning signal is output for operating personnel and the surrounding area in the event of damage
to the magnetic coil.
Output of an acoustic confirmation signal when a command is received.
