Adjusting and function check

The lifting magnet was already adjusted at the factory together with the supplied remote control.
DANGER!
Function check – operation with the buttons on the lifting magnet
1. Initiate the magnetising with a long press (longer than 2 s) of the green ON button. An acoustic signal sounds
to indicate that the command has been received and will be executed, and the green READY indicator light on
the display panel starts flashing. The material is attracted to the lifting magnet.
2. Lift the lifting eye to the highest position so that the safety contact is interrupted. The READY indicator light
lights up continuously.
3. Press the red OFF button – the lifting magnet must not switch off!
4. Return the lifting eye to the original position – the safety contact switches on.
5. Press and hold the red OFF button (2 s).
The lifting magnet runs through a demagnetising cycle (the red DANGER indicator light lights up) and switches off.
Function check – operation with the buttons on the remote control
Use the procedure described above for the function check with the remote control. Press the buttons on the remote
control.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
The unit is magnetised during the function check. Ferromagnetic material
underneath the lifting magnet can be attracted spontaneously and cause
injuries.
Before starting the function check, ensure that the lifting magnet is secure-
ly placed on the floor or material.
CAUTION!
If multiple lifting magnets are controlled with one remote control, the function
check must be carried out on all lifting magnets.
NOTE!
If a function check is not carried out successfully, refer to the information in
section 9 "Troubleshooting".
