2 SAFETY
DANGER!
DANGER!
DANGER!
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
Risk of jamming fingers with permanent injury due to compression in the
area of the lifting eye.
Do not place your hands into the lifting eye.
Wear safety gloves.
Risk of falling from discharge of the power supply battery!
Risk of the load falling resulting in injury with permanent consequences or
death due to discharge of the power supply battery.
Do not handle the load when the battery charge is low. Refer to the bat-
tery charge display on the front panel.
Never leave the activated lifting magnet with load unattended.
If a warning for low battery capacity is output, terminate the handling
process as soon as possible (within 2 minutes) and charge the battery –
see section 8.2.2.
Risk of injury!
Risk of injury with subsequent death or injury with permanent consequences
due to electric shock when coming into contact with live wires during battery
charging.
Do not use damaged electric cables.
Always proceed with caution during maintenance of the electric equip-
ment and observe these operating instructions.
Risk of falling due to exceeding the maximum permissible
lifting capacity!
Risk of the load falling resulting in injury with permanent consequences or
death due to exceeding the maximum permissible lifting capacity.
The lifting capacity of the lifting magnet must not exceed the lifting
capacity of the load attachment gear and the entire system. (The lifting
capacity of the crane must be greater than the sum of the weights of the
load attachment gear, the lifting magnet and the load.)
Determine the lifting capacity taking into account the limitations (air gap,
shape, thickness, etc.).
Complete coverage of the magnetic poles (functional surfaces), this must
also be evenly distributed.
Do not lift the load at the smallest side.
Do not exceed the permissible range for the working temperatures.
Observe the information in these operating instructions. Always check the
information on the material to be handled (composition, dimensions, etc.)
and on the weight and compare this to the table – see section 7.1.4.
