SAV 531.42 7 OPERATION
Switching on the lifting magnet
Press and hold green LIFT button.
■
An acoustic signal sounds to indicate that the command has been received and will be executed.
■
The green READY indicator light on the display panel of the lifting magnet starts flashing.
■
The lifting magnet is activated.
■
When handling starts (disconnecting of the safety switch underneath the lifting eye), the green READY indicator
light is on continuously.
Switching off the lifting magnet with automatic demagnetising
When handling has been completed, place the lifting magnet on a solid, horizontal surface again.
■
The lifting eye switches the safety switch and the lifting magnet can be switched off (the green READY indicator
■
light flashes).
Press and hold the red RELEASE button.

The lifting magnet executes a demagnetising cycle (the red DANGER indicator light comes on), the cycle end is
■
indicated with an acoustic signal and the lifting magnet is switched off.
The actual demagnetising cycle
When the battery-powered lifting magnet is switched off, press and hold the red RELEASE button (2 s). Only the
■
demagnetising cycle is initiated (the function is provided for better demagnetising of the load).
Operating multiple lifting magnets with one remote control
Press the ON and OFF buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold for at least 5 s. The unit switches to
■
teaching mode.
Direct the remote control towards lifting magnet to be taught and press the LIFT or RELEASE button. The lifting
■
magnet receives the signal only from the taught remote control.
NOTE!
To switch off the lifting magnet, the lifting eye had to be lifted and lowered
again (this opens and closes the safety switch).
