Optional Features
If the MPA is equipped with either a linearizer or the internal switch
controller, the software will detect this and add some additional screens and
features.
Figure B-13 shows the additional linearizer control features that can be
accessed when that option has been installed into the Hub mount MPA.
Access these control parameters the same as any of the other RF trip point or
parameter setting (see parameter settings in this appendix).
If the MPA is also equipped with the internal switch controller option, the
switch position and control screens will become active. Figure B-14 shows the
WG switch system screen is now active and can be accessed by pressing F3.
Pressing F1 now will give the command to toggle the W/G switch. Two types
of 1:1 systems can be shown, with input (ganged) switch or a split input. The
screens for these two types are shown in Figures B-15 & B-16.
The selection of what type of switch system is made under the Misc. tab as
shown in Figure B-17. Select 1:1A for split input system and 1:1B for switched
(ganged) input system.
