Overview of diagnostic events

Each diagnostic event is assigned a certain event level at the factory. The user can change this
assignment for certain diagnostic events.
12.5.1

Adapting event level

You can change the event level of a few diagnostic events using the Event no. xxx parameter.
Navigation path
"Expert" menu ® System ® Diagn. handling ® Event level ® Event no. xxx
You can assign the following options to the diagnostic event as the event level:
Event level
Description
Alarm
The measurement is interrupted. The signal outputs take on the defined alarm condition. A
diagnostic message is generated.
Warning
The device continues to measure. A diagnostic message is generated.
Logbook entry only
The device continues to measure. The diagnostic message is entered in the Event logbook (events
list) submenu only and not displayed in alternation with the measured value display.
Ignore
The diagnostic event is ignored, and no diagnostic message is generated or entered.
