COOLANT EXPANSION TANK
1. MAX level
2. MIN level
3. Operating range
8. Add coolant if level is below MIN
mark. Use a funnel to avoid spillage.
Do not overfill.
9. Properly reinstall coolant expansion
tank cap.
10. Reinstall service cover.
NOTE: A cooling system that fre-
quently requires addition of coolant
is an indication of leaks or engine prob-
lems.

Engine Coolant Replacement
Cooling System Draining
WARNING
In order to avoid potential burns,
do not remove the pressure cap or
loosen the coolant drain plug if the
engine is hot.
1. Remove service cover.
2. Remove the cooling system pres-
sure cap.

1. Pressure cap
3. Unscrew coolant drain plug and
drain the coolant into a suitable con-
tainer.
NOTE: The drain plug is accessible
from underneath the vehicle.
