BVE
Bladder voiding efficiency (BVE) is a product of bladder contractility against
urethral resistance and is measured to the degree of bladder emptying. The
BVE treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) suggestive
can be defined as a percentage.
BVE = (voided volume/total bladder capacity) × 100.
The BVE can be seen in addition to the composite nomogram (see § 13.5.12),
to make the description of the individual patient's voiding function more
precise.
