Installation Manual, LABORIE Document Code: MAN-00031). The default
flush time is five seconds. When the volume flushed through the pump tube is
too low or too high, you can change the setting. The flush speed and flush time
can be set in the diagnostic program (see the Nexam Pro Service &
Installation Manual, LABORIE Document Code MAN-00031). Pressing again
within the flush time will stop the flushing.

Install the pump tube
The pump tube is connected to the saline bag and positioned in the pump.
This pump tube is connected to the filling lumen of the catheter.
Use only sterile filling liquids and sterile pump tubes (part number: NPU 275/C)
for the pump unit. Proper operation of the pump unit is not guaranteed when
using other brands and/or types of tubes.

Investigation Procedure
Use only sterile filling liquids and sterile pump tubes with
part number NPU 275/C for the Nexam Pump Unit.
The pump tube needs to be replaced for each patient.
Long-term usage of the tube will decrease the yield of
the tube.
