Make sure that both primary and secondary voltage
selection switches are in the same position, to prevent
permanent damage to the system. Contact your
LABORIE representative if this is not the case or when
you are in doubt.
Please connect the U2M and Bluetooth USB dongle
preferably directly to the computer as un-powered
USB-HUBs might compromise their performance.
Make sure that the correct dedicated power supply for
the U2M module is used before plugging it into a mains
socket (PS-U2M/T for trolley systems, PS-U2M/P for
non-trolley systems).
Do not use a power supply other than which is
specified. Doing so may cause fire leading to serious
accidents.
Do not clamp the U2M module upside down in a wet
environment.
Do not (dis)connect the U2M USB connector when a
patient is connected to the Nexam Pro measurement
system to reduce risks involving dangerous electrical
currents.
Always remove the power adapter from the mains first
before removing the power supply cable from the U2M
module to reduce risks involving dangerous electrical
currents.
