Step 2: Access Ladder / Rockwall Assembly
Part 1
Pre-drill all pilot holes using a 1/8" drill bit before installing wood screws.
A: Insert 4 (1578) 1-1/8 x 15-7/8" Dowels into (2100) Access Rail Right and (2101) Access Rail Left as shown in
fig. 2.1.
B: Make sure shoulder of dowel is against each rail before pre-drilling pilot holes. Drill 1/8" pilot holes through the
rails and into the dowels to prevent splitting. (fig. 2.1)
C: Attach (1578) 1-1/8 x 15-7/8" Dowels to both rails with 2 (S2) #8 x 1-1/2" Wood Screws per dowel. (fig. 2.1)
