Installing Your Pump

Installing Your Pump
The peristaltic pumps 1VS and 8VS are for one and eight pumping channels.
The pumps are designed for liquid samples. Due to the peristaltic pump
principle only the tubing is in contact with the liquid.
The pumps can be operated manually and remotely via a digital interface. If
used for automated sampling in the dissolution testing application, only the
remote operation is applied.

The pump operates on 100–120 V AC or 220–240 V AC and delivers flow up to
14 ml/min and 2 bar from each channel. The pump has a pressure-wheel
assembly for one or eight tubing-cassettes. The pump can be remotely
controlled to start and stop, and change direction, or it can be operated
manually from the front panel.
