Rechargeable battery


Switch off the battery and the drive system before
removing or inserting the battery.

6.19.1 Removing the BT-E8036 battery

1 Open the key hole flap.
2 Insert key in the locking cylinder.

3 Hold battery with left hand.
4 Turn key in a clockwise direction.

 The battery is unlocked. The double latch plate
retains the battery in the designated position
and prevents it from falling out.
 If the battery does not detach in the designated
position, pull out the battery with your hand
while turning the key.

5 Press on the double latch plate.
6 Remove the battery.
