Setting the start ratio

When the start-up [Start mode] is enabled, the
selected start-up transmission is used when the
pedelec is started. The transmission may
automatically shift to the pre-set gear if the rider
sets off after being stationary.

The settings menu is opened.
 Press switch Y (left) or switch X (left) briefly
repeatedly until START MODE is displayed on
the menu.
 Press the button (display) or switch A (left).
 There are two selection options:
Display Function
O FF Start-up transmission deactivated
[1 - 11] Gear 1 to 11

repeatedly until the desired setting is
highlighted.
 Press the button (display) or switch A (left).
 The selected start-up transmission is
activated.
 The display screen switches back to the start
screen.

Setting the automatic gear sequence

The switching point can be set in the SETTINGS
menu item. Special knowledge and tools are
required for setting the gear shift. Only specialist
dealers may make these settings.

Adjusting gear shift info

You can choose whether gear shift info is
displayed or not.

The settings menu is opened.
 Press switch Y (left) or switch X (left) briefly
repeatedly gear shift info GEAR SHIFT INFO is
displayed on the menu.
 Press the button (display) or switch A (left).
 There are two selection options:
Display Function
O N Activate gear shift info
O FF Deactivate gear shift info

 The gear shift info has been changed.

Adjusting the backlight



repeatedly until BACKLIGHT is displayed on
the menu.
 Press the button (display) or switch A (left).
 There are three selection options:
Display Function
O N Light always on
O FF Light always off
MAN UAL Is switched on and off with the battery-
powered light
